any good sites i can visit for ideas on decorating my bedroom?

My bed is black wrought iron so has to go with that i want a calming room

Light pastel colors in the bedroom are the most calming.

Since pink & purple are my favorite colors, I went with pastel lilac. Trimwork & doors were painted the same color to blend into the wall. (My closet door is in the center of the wall and I did not want to bring attention to it!) If that isn't a problem for you, I'd paint it a pale eggshell or white.

Black accessories to match your bed (lamps and scatter rug).

You could also go with a bed ensemble with a black background and use bright colored bed pillows for a little oomph.
